Psychologist & Researcher
For more than 25 years, my work has moved between practice and research, shaped by professional experience as well as lived experience.
I have lived and worked across Europe, North America and Latin America. This personal journey has influenced how I understand identity, belonging and life transitions.
Having experienced first-hand the challenges of living between cultures, I aim to ensure that my work is culturally affirming and not limited to generalized concepts of personal growth.
I welcome culture, art, psychodrama and embodied awareness into psychological work, recognising that each person has the right to build a life that truly makes sense to them.
My approach is grounded in research and informed by cognitive-behavioural perspectives, expressive arts and embodied awareness.
I pay attention not only to how experience is explained, but also to how it is lived and sensed.
I work in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Professional background
Licensed Psychologist (2000)
Additional training includes cognitive behavioural therapy, expressive arts therapy, embodiment and somatic approaches, psychodrama and social intervention.
My professional work has also included projects in research, education and cultural environments.
Psychological work, for me, is about making space for people to build lives that make sense to them.
