WORKING WITH YOUNG PEOPLE

Growing up between cultures

Having lived and worked across different countries, I have long been interested in how young people form a sense of identity and belonging while growing up between cultures.

For me, adolescence is one of the most creative and challenging stages of human development. It is often the moment when these questions become more visible, especially in intercultural environments.

Part of my professional work involves thoughtful conversations with young people and adolescents around these significant experiences, which often shape the way they understand themselves and their future adult lives.

MY FOCUS ·

Making sense of experience.

My work with young people focuses on creating thoughtful spaces for conversation and reflection around experiences such as:

Identity and belonging.

Forming a sense of self.

Cultural influences and social expectations.

Boundaries and relationships.

Growing into adulthood.

Navigating different educational and cultural environments.

Questions about direction and the future.

· PODCAST ·

Podcast — Moving beyond adult-centred perspectives.

In recent years I have also developed a podcast project that creates a space where adolescents can express their own perspectives and experiences.

In these conversations, young people themselves are the protagonists. The intention is to move beyond adult-centred perspectives, which can sometimes limit listening and create rigid or stereotyped views of adolescence.

This space allows them to explore their own lived experience and gradually form their own point of view about their lives, their voice and their place in the world.

· COLLABORATIONS ·

Collaboration with educational environments

Alongside my work with adults, I remain interested in collaborating with schools and educational communities, particularly in international environments where questions of identity, belonging and cultural context are part of everyday life.
